Terms & Conditions for Great North Woods Container Services
Waste Material:
The Customer represents and warrants that the materials placed in the equipment shall be "waste material" as defined herein and contain no other substances. The term "waste material" as used in these Terms & Conditions shall mean solid waste generated by the Customer excluding radioactive, volatile, highly flammable, explosive, biomedical, infectious, toxic, hazardous material or unapproved burnt materials (accepted only with asbestos and TCLP testing completed and approved from landfill). The term "hazardous material" shall include, but not be limited to, any amount of waste listed or characterized as hazardous by the United States Environmental Protection Agency or any state agency under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, as amended or applicable by law. Title to and liability for any waste excluded above shall remain with Customer and Customer expressly agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Contractor from and against any damages, penalties, fines, and liabilities resulting from or arising out of such waste excluded above. Other prohibited items include, and are not limited to, liquids, solvents, chemicals, freon, batteries, paint cans (unless dry), biohazards, medical waste, asbestos, lead-painted materials, dirt, equipment containing gas or oil. Restrictions and fees may apply to appliances, furniture, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, tires, televisions, monitors, small electronics and computers. Please inquire with specific questions.
Inspection/Rejection of Prohibited Waste
Title to and liability for Prohibited Waste shall remain with Customer at all times. Great North Woods Container Services shall have the right to inspect, analyze, and/or test any waste delivered by customer.
Dumpster Capacity
In no event will customer load debris weighing 8,000 lbs or more in any 10,12,15 or 20 Yard Container.
Be it known that the weight of the delivery truck and empty/full equipment is substantial. The Customer will provide sufficient access to deliver and retrieve equipment inclusive of load-bearing capability. Great North Woods Container Services will not be held responsible for damages to the yard, shrubs, fences, or pavement.
Payment Terms
Prepayment of the rental cost at the time of reservation is required by debit card or credit card, Great North Woods Container Services will keep that card on file until the account is at a zero balance. The cost of any overage charges and other fees are due immediately after the container has been brought to the transfer station and emptied and the card on file will be charged. In the event no payment can be made, starting from day 30, any amount not paid will bear interest of 1.5% per month and a mechanics lien will be placed on the property until the bill is paid.
In the event of a multi dumpster transaction, commonly known as a "Swap Out," The following/ending dumpster can't be picked up until the balance of the prior dumpster and any overage charges and other fees been paid in full unless payment terms have been discussed prior to the initial order.
No refunds or discounts are given due to an early pick-up of a dumpster.
Cancelation
10% of the rental cost if canceled before the day of delivery
25% of the rental cost if canceled the day of delivery
50% of the rental cost if canceled and the driver is already enroute to your location
Potential Fees:
Equipment Care
The equipment delivered to the Customer is the Contractor's property, and therefore the Customer will take reasonable care of it. Any damage, movement, loss, etc., will be charged to the Customer. All claims arising from improper use or allowed access by the Customer will be their sole responsibility for damages, injuries, wrongful death, suits, penalties, and fines. The Customer's responsibility is to ensure that the equipment is secure until the vendor picks it up. Leaving a site unattended does not excuse liability or charges for contamination or overages.
Reasonable Control
Great North Woods Container Services warrants that they will make every effort to deliver and pick up as directed under contract. They are not liable for forces of nature, strikes, laws, inhibited access, etc., beyond their control.
Driveways & Parking Areas
Customers warrant that any access/location provided for the Contractor's equipment is sufficient to bear the weight of all equipment and vehicles required to perform the service. The Contractor shall not be responsible for damage to any pavement or accompanying sub-surface or any route reasonably necessary to perform the contracted services. In addition, the Contractor shall not be liable for damage to utilities, property, lawns, fences, or shrubbery.

For all intents and purposes regarding financial and/or legal issues, the terms and conditions found here shall constitute a legally binding service agreement and shall have the same force and effect as a signed service agreement.
